Kindle will land on Australia’s shores October 19th

The popular Amazon Kindle has been unavailable outside the US since it’s launch, however Amazon announced recently that they have plans to bring the popular ebook reader to Australia by October 19.  Amazon will start shipping the international version for a price of $239USD with most of the Kindle range available at launch. Amazon has failed to mention if the no-pc download service avaliable in the US will carry over here, although we hope so, especially with Telstra’s 3G coverage.
