For those that know me, it isn’t really a secret that I want one of Apple’s now famous iPad. It was released here not all that long ago, and I’ve already built up a list of apps that I want if I ever get to own one. But, what I want to know is – what apps do you like, or think looks interesting, for the iPad. I want to hear your thoughts. Comment below, you don’t need an iPad, just an App that looks interesting.
So, what are you waiting for? Comment!
Twitter announced today that they have acquired Atebits‘ iPhone twitter client ‘Tweetie‘. The app, which will be renamed ‘Twitter for iPhone’ and released for free in the App Store, is one of the most popular iPhone twitter clients available.
The developer of Tweetie for iPhone, Loren Brichter, is joining forces with the Twitter team, and is joining their mobile team, but what does this mean for the future of twitter clients? For the most part, they are not concerned. Gedeon Maheux, a developer of popular twitter client Twitterrific says that they “have no intent on changing [their] development plans” and that “Twitterrific and it’s many customers are being supported as they always have been”, which is good news, as an official app could potentially kill off all third party apps.
With Twitter now having an official iPhone app, will we see competitors in the market drop? What do you think will hapen?

Google is planning to stop supporting older browsers, such as Internet Explorer 6. Over the course of 2010, Google will update it’s Google Apps suite to HTML5, meaning older browsers such as IE6 will be unable to support the new standard. Google will start by updating Google Docs from March 1, 2010. Other apps, such as Mail and Calendar, will be converted later in the year. Those using older browsers are advised to upgrade, and will get a message when they use the Google Apps later in the year.
>> Google Apps admins should have received an email, no word yet on wether this affects normal Google Accounts.
