ABC wants free iView on the NBN
When it comes around, ABC wants the national broadband network to carry its iView service for free. The iView service is available for free on some broadband providers (iiNet, Internode, Primus etc), but is metered on others, most notably Telstra’s Bigpond and Optus internet. ABC wants the NBN to be legally obligated to carry its content for free. Neither Optus nor Telstra have commented on the subject.
